BabyQuil ("we", "our", or "the app") is a pregnancy and baby tracking application developed for parents. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
BabyQuil is a local-first app — no account is required and we do not have access to your personal information or your family's data. All data is stored entirely on your device.
The app collects only the information you enter directly into the app and stores it locally on your device:
We do not collect email addresses, passwords, or account credentials. We do not collect data automatically or in the background.
All data you enter is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. Bump and baby photos are stored on your device only. Nothing is ever uploaded to any server or cloud storage. If you delete the app, all your data is permanently deleted from your device.
BabyQuil is free to use and is supported by advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect the following from your device:
On iOS, you will be asked via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt whether you allow personalised ads. If you decline, AdMob will show non-personalised ads only. Either choice does not affect app functionality. Your personal health, baby, or family data is never shared with AdMob.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. The only exception is Google AdMob, which displays advertisements as described in Section 3. No other third-party services have access to your data.
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app. You can also clear your data from within the app settings.

BabyQuil may send push notifications to remind you of feeds, medications, and appointments. These notifications are generated locally on your device and do not involve transmitting your data to any server. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

BabyQuil is designed for use by parents and caregivers. The app records information about babies and children, but is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 directly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
